Conductance vs resistance

Hi everyone,

I am trying different configurations when running circuitscape and I was wondering if there is a difference between resistance and conductance other than that one is the reverse of the other (meaning pixels with high resistance have low conductance). Is there an advantage to use one of over the other one?
