Advanced Circuitscape Setting

Good Afternoon, 

has anyone on here ever used the advanced settings for Circuitscape?? If so are there any suggestions or documentation of this? a project I am working on is looking to use the advanced settings and I wanted to get some more information and examples of it being applied.
