Hi,

I'm pleased to announce the release of circuits 2.0.0 [cheetah]

This is a major release which includes breaking API changes from the previous release 1.6.
Some of the highlights of this release include:
 * Enhanced internal Event Generation for I/O components.
 * Re-Implementation of call/wait synchronous primitives.
 * Simplified API for Eventing and Channel targeting.
 * Many more bug fixes and test coverage.

For more information see the PyPi page:

cheers
James

Thank you for your valuable feedback.

I'm adding your suggestions as new stories for
upcoming sprints!

Look forward to some more regular release schedules!

2.x took a while because we rewrite major parts of
the core of circuits to better enhance the usability
and overall performance.

We believe the core API is much more straight-forward.

Thanks again! We hope to see a project or two of yours
on our Users page!

cheers
James

Hi James
I went through latest version and I like it. What I value most is the documentation, this time it seems more explanatory, then last time (what was more then a year ago, so I could miss some version in between) and in fact it opens doors to using it in real solutions. Keep going this way, completed docs can significantly support adoption.

I also visited examples, they show nice features and concepts, few lines of comments in docs would multiply their value.

Thanks for your work.
