Subject: Re: non-linear settings
The problem is that Circuit4 for the TI calculators cannot solve diode circuits that have an oscillator. The reason is that the TI calculator is not powerful enough, it would take hours. Remove the oscillator and replace it with a battery or DC current source.

Hello,
Thanks for the prompt response. But still i do have one problem that
i believe you could help me with. I have the ti89 version. I was going
through the manual and circuit with diodes are solvable with circuit4
but when I try it always says:
<CIRCUIT4 ERROR 3901
This solve option is not allowed for
non-linear circuits (these are circuits
with diodes or transistors).>
My circuit is a simple a Osc. current source in series with a diode
and a resistor.
I know it may be some setting that I did not do. Please help me

Hello,
Unfortunately the non-linear settings right now does not do anything
since inductors are not yet supported. Oscillators are not yet
supported in the iPhone but will be in a future version.

How do I set up my non-linear settings? It seem to be doing nothing
when I press the non-linear settings from the Tools-->non-linear
settings. Can we solve circuit that has Osc. voltage or current source
(s)? Thanks
