My friends' daughter is looking for summer housing through a nursing internship. Deb & Garrett are personal friends from college (U of M), now living in Maple Grove, MN. I can vouch for them being awesome parents and raising exceptional kiddos. Specs:
Summer 2021. No exact dates yet.
She will have a car, but would probably want to live within <20 minutes of downtown Duluth.
First Priority: Safety
Second: Location
Comfort/amenities comes last.
She doesn't need much beyond a place to sleep and to shower, an internet connection, and a place to park the Prius.

I am overjoyed to announce that Kennedy has accepted a nursing internship for the summer at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. She is ecstatic, and we are so proud of her. This was her FIRST choice, and they let her select her specialty, which will be neurotrauma in the ICU. We hope that this will lead to a job offer for after she finishes her senior year, as she wants to live in Duluth long-term! All that said, she needs a place to stay this summer while working at the hospital, and before we go looking for other options, I wanted to ask whether we have any friends in Duluth who might have a room to rent for the summer for an extremely responsible nurse intern. I can't promise she'll keep banker's hours, as she doesn't yet know what her assigned shift will be, but she'd be respectful and helpful. We couldn't be more proud of her. This is the beginning of the rest of her life, and it's gonna be great! Love you, kiddo.
