Dear BWC and ABV members:

We invite you to a reading of a new play written by Boston Workmen's Circle member David Miller. The reading also features BWC and A Besere Velt members, Renee Miller and Bob Follansbee. (FYI, the play includes great songs written by Renee's sister, Dorothy, a terrific composer from California who was part of seminal 1960's psychedelic band, the United States of America, and was also in an early version of Country Joe and the Fish.)

A flyer with the same information as that below plus a couple of pictures is also attached for sharing, if you'd like.

YOU ARE INVITED TO A READING OF DAVID MILLER’S PLAY

WHO’S TYNDALL?

Music and Lyrics by Dorothy Moskowitz Falarski

SATURDAY, JUNE 29, 7:30 PM

TEMPLE SINAI WEINTRAUB AUDITORIUM

50 Sewell Ave., Brookline (Coolidge Corner)

One of the originators of Global Warming, this 19th century physicist was a pioneering advocate for separation of science and religion.  Elements of his research and experiments were suppressed for years after his death, which have contributed to his being less well known than many of his contemporaries.  This play explores the reasons for this as well as his mysterious death.

Refreshments and Discussion follow the reading

How cool is that?  One of my favorite songs of the late 60's was "Love Song for the Dead Che" by United States of America.
