CfP: Russia in the Muslim World

In May, 13-14, 2018 the Truman Institute will host an international conference focusing on Russia's involvement in the Middle East and in the wider Muslim world over the past three decades. The conference aims to examine Russia's patterns of involvement and presences in the Muslim world and will focus on such issues as Russia's strategic partners, its influence on Middle Eastern politics, and politics in the Muslim republics in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Papers related to the Russia-Muslim nexus in International Relations, the economic aspects of its policies, and attitudes towards its growing presence in the region since the Arab Spring are just as welcome.
