finding sound files for your theme

Finding great sound clips for exotic themes can be difficult.

Themes often require a good quality recording without much background noise.

Here's where I go hunt for jewels:

Freesound.org

Large community with a great selection. Often excellent quality. Clips usually need to be cropped and slightly processed to be used as a jingle. Search results can sometimes be a little chaotic.

Soundbible.com

Good search function and most sounds are properly cropped and clean. Quality of the sound files is often quite poor and heavily compressed.
