Use of CIPRES for courses and/or grad student research

Now that CIPRES uses a subscription model, is there a mechanism by which I can pay with a credit card so that a group of students or grad students have access to CIPRES through one account? 

I would prefer not to have to pay for individual accounts for 15+ students, and the students should not have access to my own research account.

Hi Dave,

 

If each person needs more than 1000 compute hours, my suggestion would be to create a single account where all the users use the same credentials (assuming trust is not an issue).

You can do that be creating a “cannatellalab” username/password, and have the students use those credentials to log in to the subscription area.

If the students need privacy, as in separate individual logins, and each needs access to more than 1000 hours of compute time, I think we can come up with a way to accommodate that.
