Unable to select data

I'm creating a new task. I selected and clicked "select Data", but the prompt "You must select a data item to proceed with task creation."appears.

Thanks for reporting the issue.

The select data feature is working ok in my interface. 

I have seen this behavior before, if somehow the data item in the database is corrupted in some way. It is a rare (very rare) issue.

Please try this: Find the data item you wish to use as input in the data folder.

Select it, and try to edit or download it. If you get an error message, there is a problem with the data item in our database. 

Let me know what you find, and if the problem persists.
