Probablyit is some problem with network settings. Use static IP on both computers, run ping both sides, enable file sharing, change firewall and other security settings. Try access from one computer shared folder on other and change files there. When you can do it then probably can add printer. Files will be printed directly on printer ( using print driver ) and not registered on MS01.
If you want print through MS01 software then on other computer should be installed Fuji print driver ( MS12 software ) . Then printed files will be transferred to MS01 server and printed using it.
On latest print driver ( version 4.5.0 ) see two printers - FUJIFILM DX100 and FUJIFILM DX100 EX . To print, add new print sizes and maintenance need select FUJIFILM DX100 EX.
Yes, it is possible to use hotfolder. It is MS13. Also can use print driver ( MS12 ) . Then pictures will be transferred to MS01 server and printed from there.
MS13 should be installed on two computers ( external computer and computer with MS01 server ) . MS13 instillation on these computers is different.
If to use print driver ( MS12 ) then it should be installed on external computer. Then can print from any software ( for example Photoshop, Irfanview and many other ) .
I am doing final B.E project on Direct Thermal printer. I searched all code libraries for thermal header file in tivaware C series. But I was unable to find that. Could someone send thermal printer header/library file. I will be using SSI module(Serial Sync Interface) for data to be sent in binary form from one port of this module to thermal head.
This data sheet totally contradicts your assertion in the first post about SSI. The supported interfaces are parallel, USB or serial. The suggested Arduino driver is for similar printer(Fujitsu) and is for UART, so can be used...
At this stage, you changed the problem - if its was the same from the beginning, then was mis-stated - so you need to realize an interface board to only the print head? If yes, why, since there already is an interface board ready to be connected to the printer head: -ftp-608-series.html?download
Strongly suggest to use such ready board and concentrate only on the high level driver. If your job is to do such interface board, then the documentation available is not enough - six pages with connector description could not supply info about motor, software for that and for thermal head. Contact Fujitsu for such info. Timing diagrams and protocols are essential for such job.
Could you please help me with motor configurations of IC drv8837(PWM driver motor IC) with microcontroller TM4C123FH6PM interfaced to PORT A4 to A7 i.e header file . Motor is to be running in forward direction with fast decay.
For pwm: motor duration should be around 3-5sec.Initially i just want to see timing graph on oscilloscope from output of driver Ic drv8837 (datasheet of this is in previous post). But I cannot change the interface board now due to some constraints i.e. I have to use TM4C123 uC with fujitsu thermal head(FTP628MCL101). So please help me with these.
I'm going to assume that the software-interface you are using is from the Fujitsu and even though you are scanning directly into Acrobat, the actual software being used is Fujitsu's software. Similar to when you print, you are using the printer drivers for your printer.
I cannot see any mechanism that this would be from Acrobat. My gut feeling is that it's Fujitsu's software and/or an interaction between that and your OS. OR an interaction between Fujitsu software, your OS AND Acrobat. Very hard to pin down because of so many possibilities.
One thing I'd suggest is to try to scan directly via Fujitsu's software and leave out Acrobat and see what happens. If, after some 50+ pages and nothing happens, than it could be Acrobat. If something happens, it seems like there is an Acrobat interaction somewhere.
FWIW, when I did my Fujitsu scanning (it was with a borrowed unit, I do not own one). I was scanning directly using the Fujitsu software into my hard drive. The Fujitsu software was automatically doing the OCR at the time. HOWEVER, If found the quality of the OCR to be poor, and more importantly I found the (storage) size of the documents were significantly larger than if OCRed by Acrobat. So, what I did was to scan away and then later I would open Acrobat up and OCR the folder I had just scanned. I'd do this when I stopped for lunch or a break or something*.
Wait, I just thought of something: I wonder if the rate of the scanning is faster than Acrobat can keep up and any cache is not sufficient to hold the document until it can be OCRed. I wonder if that could be the problem and when Acrobat becomes too overwhelmed, it says "Bleep, just move on I'll get the next one..." I'm totally guessing at this but my thought in the paragraph above this might provide some thoughts.
* The reason why I did the Acrobat-OCRing during my break is that "good" simply takes longer. One of the very annoying things about Acrobat when it's OCRing a long document is that it keeps on popping up and interrupting anything else you might be doing to let you know it's starting a new page. It was this issue that made me wonder if the blank page is being caused by Acrobat being overwhelmed by the rate at which the Fujitsu scanner was delivering pages.
I'm going away for about a week tomorrow and may not be able to respond in an efficient manner during that time. I will try to respond but probably only in the evenings when I can. Good luck. Let me know what happens.
Normally, I scan documents to Evernote in PDF and, in the past, I could just select a scanned document and plug into a printer (I have tried two different HP printers) and print it whenever I wanted with no problem. Then, in the last month, I somehow lost the Adobe PDF 8.0 printer driver and I cannot find where to get an update. I can (painfully) work a bypass to this printing problem by either converting the document to .docx or copy/paste some documents to Google Docs. I can also print using Apple's preview. I still have the original Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.0 disc and have tried running it to replace the previous program with a new install - no luck. I am wondering if this is Adobe's way of forcing me to subscribe to the new Adobe Acrobat?
the compatibility problems are caused by apple failing to create newer os'es compatible with older software (including adobe's), and not caused by adobe anticipating newer os'es and designing their older software to be incompatible.
You can scan for driver updates automatically and install them manually with the free version of the Fujitsu Printer Driver Update Utility, or complete all necessary driver updates automatically using the premium version.
Click the Update button next to your driver. The correct version will be downloaded and installed automatically. Or, you can click the Update All button at the bottom to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out-of-date on your system.
To find the latest driver, including Windows 11 drivers, choose from our list of most popular Fujitsu Printer downloads or search our driver archive for the driver that fits your specific Fujitsu printer model and your PC's operating system.
After downloading your driver update, you will need to install it. Driver updates come in a variety of file formats with different file extensions. For example, you may have downloaded an EXE, INF, ZIP, or SYS file. Each file type has a slightly different installation procedure to follow. Visit our Driver Support Page to watch helpful step-by-step videos on how to install drivers based on their file extension.

I know this is an old post but it seems like ScanSnap scanners do not support TWAIN or WIA drivers. These kind of drivers enable the scanners to be used by 3rd party applications (In this case non-fujitsu applications). The WIA is the driver you need for the Windows Fax & Scan to be able to see a scanner, but ScanSnap seems to not support that. So I think we are out of luck here.
You can check if this is your issue if you go to Control Panel>Devices and Printer, and right click on the scanner > Start Scan. If it tells you you need a WIA driver then this applies to your scenario.
My company bought multiple Evernote Edition Scansnap scanners years ago to the tune of $500 each. We've been an Evernote business customer for going on nearly 10 years. Today, for whatever reason, my scanner won't scan. The green button flashes whenever I hit the scan button, and I noticed the Scansnap Manager Evernote Edition software has suddenly disappeared from my PC.
So I go on the Evernote site to download it, and can't find the software. But I do see a help article related to updating the firmware on our Evernote Edition scanners so they can become regular IX500 scanners. This seems fantastic. I read all of the instructions, download the firmware update, and when I go to install the application receive an error (attached) saying that I must first install Scansnap Manager Evernote Edition in order to update the firmware on my scanner.
