We have an Asst. Manager - Mechanical Process opening to be based in Chennai for a large Manufacturing MNC.

Designation: Asst. Manager - Mechanical Process

Education: BE (Mech.)

Experience: 6 to 9 years experience in a manufacturing organisation.

Location: Chennai

Job Description:

Maintenance

Preventive maintenance of Plant equipments like bending furnaces, CNC machines & Utility equipments like Centrifugal fans, Screw & reciprocating compressors, Water treatment plants, HVAC etc.

Planning and effecting preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of Pneumatic & hydraulic components, Power transmission systems.

Condition monitoring of Utility equipments like Compressors & Centrifugal fans.

Spare parts management (Mechanical Spares) for all Plant as well as utility equipments.

Operations

Preparing schedules for Plant & utility equipments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.

Responsible for the installation, commissioning of plant (Glass bending furnaces, CNC glass cutting machines, glass printing machines) as well as utility equipments (Compressed air, Treated water, HVAC)

Quality Systems

Up keep of documentation and its utilization as per TS-16949 standards.

Managing critical spares for all Plant as well as utility equipments with the help of Oracle Inventory module

ISO 14001-2004

TQM & TPM

Must have exposure of TQM & TPM activities.
