Am i the only one who thinks that the mobile version of DBD has A LOT of skins that actually have unique-cool designs compared to the base game? why can't we also get them in the PC version? I know that we're getting 2 survivor & 2 killer skins in the future, but i wish we had more than that and earlier, or at the same time as the mobile version gets it to make it fair. like holy moly, after seeing all those skins i was just shocked at how good they are. not all of them but like more than a half of them, here's the best examples that just prove it:
These are the ones that i've just found & are also the latest ones that they've got...the things i'd do for that mikaela skin. all of these summer-themed outfits are so cool compared to the ones we have. i'm not saying that we have "trash" ones, i like them too actually but the mobile ones are definitely winning, in my opinion. yes, they're too "bright" making it easier to get noticed by the killer but that doesn't change the fact they all look very good and would be a good idea to get added into the game. I bet everyone would buy these, making it better for the creators themselves.
I genuinely do not want any of the mobile skins in the main game, especially not any of the Survivor ones, however since they said they would bring some in, albeit not a 1:1 version of them, i hope they bring as few as possible into the main game.
i think they just do not have enough artists/3d modellers to port skins from mobile, while also making other skins+new chapter+rift skins. If they stop making new skins and just port them from mobile, lots of people will surely rage.
While Dead by Daylight Mobile (Free) from Behaviour Interactive and NetEase was soft launched for a while on iOS, we finally got a release window for the worldwide release recently. Today, Behaviour Interactive just announced the release date for the mobile 4v1 asynchronous multiplayer horror experience based on the popular PC and console game Dead by Daylight. Dead by Daylight Mobile is heading to the Americas, Europe, and more next month. Dead by Daylight Mobile lets you play as a killer or try and survive with the mobile release including the same gameplay and modes from the main game. Watch the new trailer for Dead by Daylight Mobile below:
Dead by Daylight has many playable killers and survivors that are available on both console and PC. The mobile port however is still catching up to the main game's current roster with Freddy Krueger and Quentin Smith soon being the newest additions for mobile players.
With Freddy being one of the deadliest killers in Dead by Daylight, mobile survivor players will need to watch out for him. His ability to drag survivors into the dream world, remain unseen to awakened survivors, and mask his terror radius make him especially dangerous for those unprepared.
Dead by Daylight Mobile is, as the name indicates, the mobile version of the Steam and console game Dead by Daylight. Like the original version, it features the Halloween license as well as the Michael Myers and Laurie Strode characters.
The new update has also brings a mobile-exclusive Relic system to the game. This introduces unique items which can shake up the gameplay, forcing players to change their tactics. Engaging with these relics will reward players with relic shards, which players can use to upgrade their relics and unlock new cosmetics.
Players can experience the thrill of both Killer and Survivor in this deadly game of hide and seek. Survive with your friends as a team or outlast them all. Play as a Killer and sacrifice Survivors to The Entity. Whether you enjoy making your friends laugh or scream, this 4vs1 asymmetrical survivor horror game has something all players will enjoy. With 5 players in the same Killing Grounds, unexpected moments and unforgettable jump scares wait around every corner.
Now for the mobile version, the premise is entirely the same and the same characters are available. An upside of the mobile version is that it is free, with options to buy certain DLC of the licensed killers (ie Michael Myers) as well as buy auric cells for cosmetics which you can also do in the PC and console versions.
Now for gameplay and controls themselves, I have to say I hated it. From having to run, then walk, and then crouch walk, and then be able to hope windows and pallets, repair gens, activate perks, and so much more it is just too much for a mobile game in my opinion. The sensitivity is also wild and to me so hard to control. You can adjust it, but it was just insanely floaty and weird to me.
If the Killer catches a Survivor, the Killer can pick them up and carry them to one of many sacrificial hooks scattered throughout the map. While being carried, the Survivor can attempt to wiggle out of the Killer's grasp by successfully hitting consecutive skill checks before they reach the hook. When a Survivor is hooked, they gain a hook stage, progressing through summoning, struggle, and sacrifice stages. Whenever the Killer succeeds in impaling a Survivor on a hook, their hook stage increases by one. If a Survivor is left on a hook too long without being rescued, their hook stage also increases by one. During the summoning and struggle stages, the Survivor is immobile until another Survivor rescues them. During the summoning stage, the impaled Survivor can attempt to get off the hook by themselves. If a Survivor reaches the sacrifice stage, they die and are removed from the match.
On June 19, 2019, Behaviour Interactive Inc. announced the plan to release Dead by Daylight to iOS and Android for free in an attempt to make the game more accessible to players around the world.[79] A different development team was formed that is fully dedicated to optimizing the game for the mobile experience. Dead by Daylight Mobile was initially slated for launch in 2019, however the developers had to push the release to 2020, citing their need for more time to work on bugs and optimize.[80] On February 27, 2019, Behaviour announced that the mobile versions will be published by Chinese video game publisher NetEase Games in Southeast Asia, Japan, and Korea.[81] It was released in EMEA, the Americas, and South Asia on April 16, 2020.[82][83]
In its 48 hours of release, Dead by Daylight Mobile outnumbered 1 million downloads.[84] By October 2020, the game surpassed 10 million downloads.[85] By May 2022, the game reached 25 million downloads.[86] On December 2022, Behaviour Interactive announced that an improved global version is being developed co-operatively by Behaviour Interactive and NetEase Games. They removed the old global version from the mobile storefronts on December 16, 2022 and announced that the improved global version will be released on February 2023. Then, it got delayed for one month and finally the improved global version released on March 15, 2023.[87]
