Hello all,
Cipango 2 has been released for a while and and we're reached 500 deployed instances worldwide at operators and service providers. Based of user feedback, we're happy to inform you that cipango 3 is currently being developed and is targeted for end 2012. Flexibility, simplicity and performance are still the main design goals. Highlights of cipango 3 are:
- even better performance (early performance tests have just been performed with a 10 000 CAPS load for several days, with more than 5 billion SIP messages exchanged on a standard Intel i5 server)
- enhanced OSGi integration
- SIP over WebSockets support (already available in cipango 2 for prototyping purposes)
- WEB console
- revamped Jetty integration so that it may reuse several Jetty components while achieving a looser coupling so that support for other AS may be added
