Would I have any hope of backporting the 3263 support to 2.2 or is this too dependent and intertwined with other 3.0 changes/refactors.
I haven't tried to look at it much yet, partly because 3.0 moved to git.

My hesitance to just upgrade to 3.0 now is 1) how stable is it and whats the timeline for stable release 2) (more of the reason) I have an integration with another component both using the same Jetty 7.5 (i had upgraded Cipango 2.2 to Jetty7.5 for this)...I need to upgrade everything, but I need 3263 support more urgently :)

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul,
We do not consider Cipango 3.0 stable as it is not used yet in many projects. As
Thomas said, Cipango is no more sponsored by a company, so there is no more
roadmap with fixed date. Bug fixes and evolution are done on our free time or if
another company sponsors it.

There are no technical constraints that prevent RFC 3263 support backport in
Cipango 2.2 but it is not planned.
Also support of RFC 3263 is experimental.

Kind regards,
Nicolas
