A few days ago my roommates and myself changed the name of our wifi and since then myself and my other roommate have been unable to "Get Teredo IP" on our XBOX and are unable to play on XBOX live. We can watch Netflix on our Xbox's and access the internet, however we are both unable to play games on xbox live (i.e. access COD servers). Since this problem is happening to both of our consoles I believe it is a problem with our wifi, if anyone has experienced this before please let me know. It is rather frustrating.
I'm also unable to get a Teredo IP address, completely unrelated to SSID. I just upgraded from 600 to Fibre+, and since installing the new hardware, my NAT has been unavailable. I've verified my port forwarding is correct & power cycled my gateway with no success. Ideas?
What happened: we went on holiday for a week, leaving all gadgets at home unplugged from the mains electricity. When we got back, the Xbox 360 could no longer log on to Xbox Live. All our other gadgets can connect to the internet as normal using a mix of Ethernet and wireless connections.
I tried both suggestions. www.xbox.com/mtu-help doesn't exist any more. I found several recommendations on-line that say Xbox Live requires an MTU set between 1364 minimum and 1492 maximum. I checked my router: it had MTU set to 1458.
I tried all the above suggestions, and after making the last changes powered off the router/modem and Xbox 360 both. I left the router/modem for the recommended five minutes, then plugged in and powered up the Xbox 360 again. The Xbox 360 still can't connect to the Internet.
I was not sure whether I should post this on the Black Ops 4 thread or this one. But since this might not necessarily be an issue with the game itself, I thought it best to post here. I am having a very specific issue with Black Ops 4 on Xbox One. For some reason I am unable to join anyone else's lobby. In game message states that lobby is not joinable, and no one can join on me. My network setup is as follows:
There are no issues connecting to Xbox Live. I can do anything else BUT join lobbies or be joined on. Before resetting XR500 (see below), I could play multiplayer and solo Blackout without any issues. As far as I can tell, all other games function normally. For example, I could join chat parties, and others can join me. I could stream Netflix, Twitch, Youtube, etc. I could surf the web via the Edge browser. I could see all notifications (game invites, friends that are online, etc.). All network tests pass on Xbox One, and NAT shows open. Additionally, ports 3074 and 3075 are being correctly forwarded to the console which I can verify by viewing the UPnP table. The only message that could possibly be considered suspect is that Xbox is telling me that it is unable to connect to Xbox Live via IPv6. I have checked the Pace 5268AC, and the XR500. It is enabled on the Pace, and set to auto detect on the XR500. Every other aspect of Internet/LAN access on all other devices is fine.
This is most confusing since when I have the console connected to XR500 via WiFi, I have no in game issues at all (as before). As of resetting XR500, the problem has gotten worse. I am now unable to connect to the Call of Duty BO4 servers at all via ethernet to XR500. All else is still functioning normally. As for the IPv6 issue, I received the same message when directly connect to the Pace 5268AC, so I can rule out the XR500 on that. As a side note my game is a digital copy, and my home Xbox is a separate 2nd console in a different physical location. So I know I am definitely connected to Xbox Live, otherwise I am unable to even launch the game itself.
make sure your xbox is connected directly into the XR500 and put the ip assigned by the XR500 for your xbox into the DMZ of the XR500 and that should resolve your issue. Also, make sure that the ip address of your xbox is static, this can be done in the "LAN" section of the XR500 sub-menu.
You have quite a big setup so it was likely you were double NATing yourself. Likely a LAN IP changed somewhere after a DHCP lease renewal which triggered the issue but glad to hear the issue is resolved
What you're saying sort of makes sense, however the R8000 was set to AP mode, and from what I have researched, no NAT should exist if the device is set to this mode. The GSS108E is a managed switch with no NAT features that I am aware of. I'm not sure where the double NAT might have come from.

I moved recently and have set up a 5G Home Broadband contract and use a Zyxel NR5103E 5G Hub. I have 2 devices connected, my phone via wifi, and my desktop PC via ethernet. I'm not a particularly tech-y person so I'll do my best to describe this and would appreciate if anyone replies that they keep this in mind.
On Steam and other platforms, I don't know how to say this in a tech-appropriate way but the platform can clearly see that I am connected (I can browse the store live, see live video content, etc) but I cannot either download games I already own but haven't installed, or connect to live servers on online games.
For reference @Anvil_Iron I had excellent signal strength, and had no other issues, could download large files, stream, etc. I could not install anything on Steam (it had "No Connection" on the bottom of the interface, despite the store working perfectly fine as if I was connected).
I'm assuming the router signal strength is good/excellent and it's connecting at 5G without any problems? (you can see this via the Three 5G Broadband app for mobile). What are the router icons telling you on top?
Set profile name to Three / set apn to three.co.uk / user name and password leave blank / Authentication should read NONE/ If you get PDP option make sure it is on IPV4 / Everything else should be blank.
On my phone it is fine. However, when I connect to my xbox it doesn't offer me a decent connection. Loading time into games has increased, my ping has trippled to 90 and I spend ages on loading screens.
Do they have wifi? I have a chromecast which I love. You find things on your phone and then cast to the TV - youtube, netflix etc. It also has apps on it and a remote control to control it.
In order to work (and I think firesticks are similar) you need:
TV with HDMI port
Power near the TV to connect it to
Wifi - to connect the chromecast
Ask if they have smart TVs so you can log in on their TV with your accounts.
