I began to see the time in the car as time to invest. We were all stuck there, we might as well use the time with a captive audience to discuss the things of God, to pray together, to memorize scripture together, and to process through our days. I started researching audio Bible resources for kids and other audio resources to help lead this time. We have used many different things over the years now, but I thought since a new year of school has begun here, it was the perfect time to share some of these resources with you.

I'm a non-religious graduate student brought up in a secular home. I have tried reading the bible a few times over the years but since I'm going it alone, without any meaningful religious context, I just don't seem to be able to get into the book's intended rhythm. I am really interested in writers like Tolstoy, Kierkegaard, C.S. Lewis, etc., so I would really like to understand where they are coming from.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, I am trying to figure out how to connect the Audio Greek New Testament to a Greek New Testament (either NA28, UBS5, or SBL) so that I can utilize the read aloud feature. I know how to link resources, but that is not exactly what I am hoping for. What I would like is to have the Audio Greek New Testament being able to play alongside the Greek New Testament just like the ESV audio Bible will play alongside the ESV. If this has been answered already, sorry I couldn't quickly find anything. Thanks!

Thank you for replying, but Command + R does not seem to work. There is no play audio option in the menu for the Greek NT that I have in my library either. I wasn't sure if there was a way to link them to make them work.

You need to have this product: -audio-new-testament - it seems that for some reason, sometimes the audio files alone, without the linkage to the GNTs, is/was part of packages and won't work for playing from the bible text (but give you a dynamic price for the full product).

Let me begin with the app. I confess that, as an avid audiobook listener, I would rather be able to listen to this New Testament in my Audible app. I wish I could be given a key so that I could download it there, the same way when I buy a movie on DVD, I often can download it to my iTunes library to watch on my iPad. The Audible app is familiar and easy to use.

*When my older kids were probably 3 and 5, I came across these extraordinary audio Bible stories. They are told by a lady named Joelee Chamberlain. She speaks with a gentle, grandmotherly voice. She talks right to her listeners, and I found my kids responding out loud to her questions.

The Envoy 2 E Series is an advanced line of 4 solar powered audio Bible devices released by MegaVoice in 2018. Comprised of the Elite, Echo, Equip and Ember, models in the Envoy 2 E Series have several exclusive feature options. These include a flashlight, audio recorder, and FM radio.

Tapping the Start Audio Bible from the Verse Tap Menu the audio options will expand to allow you to listen to the Bible with 3 options.

1) Listen to the Chapter
2) Listen to the Chapter -- 7 times
3) Listen from here to the end of the Book

Please note to listen to the audio Bible you must have an internet connection and have selected one of the audio Bibles (KJV, NKJV, NLT, RVR60) that was previously installed on the app from Managed Bibles.

When the audio Bible option is enabled a Media Player will apear in the Bible reading text. Once the Media Player is launched it begins playing the audio stream from the BLB servers. This audio will continue playing until you manually pause, stop, quit the player or the audio stream completes. The audio can also continue even if your device sleeps.

This same media player will be launched from Text Commentaries when you have selected to listen to an "Audio" Commentary and from the Greek/Hebrew Pronunciations option.

When listening to audio from a cellular data connection it is important that you have enabled the apps's Preference Audio Delivery option.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released additional disability resources on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, including Bible Videos in American Sign Language and audio description formats, 25 translated disability resource videos, and new and translated gospel symbols in nine languages.

In Gospel Library, to find the audio description option, navigate to Videos and Images, click on Bible Videos, and select a video to play. From the video player, click on Languages and select English (Descriptive).
