I paid for it (it was only around $10) but you don't have to. Here is a link to the SERVICE manual on my Google Drive. It's 304.4MB as a .pdf. If you download it and find it useful please leave a comment to let others know it's safe to download. Thanks.

My friend has this Yamaha EMX 5 Power Mixer ( _emx5/), although the main speaker doesn't produce buzzing sound, the REC OUT, STEREO OUT, AUX1 SEND and AUX2 SEND produce buzzing sound when connected to a recording device. I want to check what went wrong with the device but I can't seems to find a service manual for this product, just user manual. Anyone have any idea where can I find this information? I suspect there may be dust in the unit.

That's the thing, I searched and searched, but all of them return the user manual, which I already have. I need to tear the unit down to clean the stuff inside, but not sure what is the proper way of doing so.

I've found a service manual for the EMX5000 and the EMX512 but nothing for the EMX5,
I doubt you'll be able to find a repair manual for that but the user manual does have some good tips in it as well as a signal path diagram that could be helpful for troubleshooting.
I'm not sure that dust should be causing an issue like this but it is very easy to check, open it up, blow the dust out and see if it's fixed.
While you're in there keep an eye out for anything that looks broken or burnt and you may get a better idea of the issue. Best of luck !!

Hi Michael
All the information you need will be in the owners and service manuals that I have posted up on my blogs. As a rough guide I would use a 10W40 oil or 10W50 if you live in hotter climates. And I would tend to drop the oil at somewhere between 3000 to 5000km. The lower the better.
Cheers
AGman
