The scam works like this. Whenever someone tries to register a WhatsApp account on a mobile phone they give WhatsApp a phone number. WhatsApp sends an SMS verification code to the mobile phone number they have been given, to verify that the number is active and that the user trying to register the account really owns the number.
I contacted whatsapp support and they say it's an issue regarding the iCloud backup... The thing is, that if I click on the question mark, it opens up blank but you can see the pictures in the small thumbnails, which makes me think not all is lost... PLEASE HELP!!
Same problem here. And WhatsApp Team simply don't care and blame it on Apple. All the other APPs are working OK, except WhatsAPP, this is definitely their problem and responsibility to find out the reason and solution for this. Shame on them!
Then, I wiped the iPhone X clean, put the simcard back into the iPhone 7, backed up everything again (iOS & Whatsapp), put the simcard back into the iPhone X and restored from the brand new backup (& let everything download overnight).
First of all, this problem occurred when I got fed up of my phone being slow so I decided to do a system restore then restoring from back up. When I went to my WhatsApp, all my media was gone. I fixed this issue doing the following:
I backup the whatsapp on iCloud and it showed about 2.7GB of backup with media. It took about 15 min to backup. Afterwards, I installed the whatsapp on my iPhone again and restore the backup, it showed all backup save down to my iPhone. Then I found most photos are ???. The most shocked now showing is my backup is now only 80MB on iCloud (I didn't choose any delete) that means all gone....without anymore backup..... anyway to find out the backup and restore the backup properly?!
The same exact thing happened to me, had a backup on icloud for 4.5 gb and did a restore - it said chat restore is done- media restore will be done in the background and nothing happened- NOW my whatsapp on iCloud shows 15 mb. Were u able to solve this
Was the device you were using for the backup running iOS 8 or higher? If so, did you have iCloud Drive turned on as well as having the the backup settings turned on in the Whats App application? Here is the Help guide from Whatsapp regarding backups:
Did you set up your iPhone X by restoring from the backup of your previous device? If so, I'm a bit confused about your comment about "installing Whatsapp on the new device". If you restored from a backup, then the backup would install Whatsapp, you wouldn't be doing that.
So far, both iPhones have the latest Whatsapp version installed, HOWEVER, my iPhone 7 Plus it's 2.17.71. However, on my iPhone X it's 2.17.80! Do you think that's gonna have an impact or is it due to the iPhone X always having a different version number than "regular" iPhones?
have faced same issue after updating whatsapp. Even you press "cancel" on whatsapp still completion block shows success. i have resolved it by using "WFActivitySpecificItemProvider" and "WFActivitySpecificItemProvider"when sharing on whatsapp then dissmiss activityViewController and share via ur. You can pull WFActivitySpecificItemProvider, activityViewController classes from
Ran into this problem with a custom UIActivityItemSource where I was passing back kUTTypeData that most providers understand for the dataTypeIdentifierForActivityType delegate method instead of kUTTypeText. Simple case overrides fixed the issue in my case. Just another reason the error above could be popping if anyone sees it.
Twilio customers who have already onboarded to WhatsApp or those attempting to onboard their customers to WhatsApp, e.g. Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) or System Integrators (SIs), are ineligible for this process to register WhatsApp senders for their customers. Please review "Getting Started with WhatsApp" for details on how to proceed.
During this process, you'll have the option to either create a new Meta Business Account or select an existing Meta Business Account. We recommend using an existing Meta Business Account if you know someone in your company has already created and verified it. If so, they will need to invite you as an administrator, so that you can create your WhatsApp Business account. Otherwise, it is allowed to have more than one Meta Business Account, so you can create a new one when registering your first WhatsApp sender using this process.
This step will open a pop-up window leading to Facebook.com. Do not close the pop-up window or navigate to a different page in the Twilio Console. You will need the Twilio Console window for later steps in this guide.
Do not select WABAs that have been used with other providers. WABAs can only be used with one Business Solution Provider. If you already have an approved WhatsApp number with another provider, then follow the steps in this article.
For example, if your company is Johnny Mobile and your brand is "PizzaApp", then we would recommend using the Display Name "PizzaApp by Johnny Mobile". This association must be published on your website, so WhatsApp can verify it. This means that somewhere on the website, there must be a visible relationship between the two names. If you would like to keep the name "PizzaApp", this will generally require an appeal to WhatsApp and may extend the registration process.
To onboard additional numbers, you need to repeat this process, while taking care to select the same Meta Business Manager account and WhatsApp Business Account. The Meta Business Manager and WhatsApp Business Account currently linked to your Twilio account are shown in the Twilio Console.
In this article, we'll look at a few quick and easy methods for how to read deleted messages on WhatsApp without the aid of an app. To understand everything there is to learn about this topic, keep reading till the end.
You can view all deleted WhatsApp messages on any Android smartphone running the Android 11 operating system or above without installing a third-party application. The feature to keep a log of every message received through WhatsApp is available thanks to the built-in notification system of this operating system in particular. This log is still present even if another user deletes a message, so you can still find the original message in your notification log.
You should be able to view all original messages received on your WhatsApp after taking the steps above, even if the sender of those messages deleted them. Remember where you can find this section of your settings since you'll need to return there to view deleted messages.
It's important to note that the message should cause the app to send a notification so it can be recorded. Remember that this might not be possible if you are online when the message is sent or the conversation is open. In this situation, a specialized tool is the only way to recover your deleted WhatsApp messages.
With this feature, you can encrypt your backup with a password or a 64-digit encryption key that only you know. This way, no one can access your backup without your password or encryption key, not even WhatsApp.
We hope that the information provided in this article has assisted you in resolving your problem and has shown you how to see deleted messages on WhatsApp. Check out our other posts for further tips on apps and data recovery.
You cannot read deleted messages on WhatsApp Web directly, as they will also disappear from the web version when they are deleted from the phone. However, you may be able to read deleted messages on WhatsApp Web if you have a notification extension installed on your browser, such as WAToolkit or WA Web Plus.
It says this message was deleted on WhatsApp when the sender has used the delete for everyone option to remove the message from both their chat and yours. This option is only available for up to an hour after sending the message.

In the second option, a CRM platform communicates with WhatsApp through an API, enabling you to send automated messages for a greater range of situations. You can create customizable auto-replies, transactional automated messages, and integrate WhatsApp messaging into a larger marketing strategy. Brevo is an official Meta Business Partner, offering all this.
Oh man, sounds like you've been on quite the wild ride trying to get this to work! :roller_coaster: Switching between Android and iPhone with WhatsApp Business can be a real pain in the neck. Let's see if I can help you out.
iTransor for WhatsApp: This is a widely recommended tool for transferring WhatsApp data between devices with different operating systems, specifically iOS and Android. Given that WhatsApp itself does not provide a built-in method to transfer chat history across these different platforms directly, iTransor for WhatsApp fills this gap with its functionality.
This video and the subsequent hack it mentions seem to be fake. Indian fact checkers BOOM have fact checked this and found the message is a hoax, they also mention a very similar message which went round earlier in 2020 which mentioned Argentina rather than India.
Other fact checkers Snopes, Africa Check and Chequeado (which is based in Argentina) also fact checked this message about the country, which was worded almost identically to the more recent message, and found it to be false too.
