We were there 3/5 - 3/19 on site 28. We're the ones with the inflatable chairs/lounges. We love camping at Cinnamon Bay and this year we made lots of new friends. We had some rain; one day it came down like a son-of-a-gun for almost an hour. Fortunately we had gone up to the T'ree Lizard in anticipation. The rest of the rain on our vacation came in occasional 30 second to a minute bursts. There were maybe 4 days where you could snorkel at CB beach. The rest of the time was gorgeous surf, playing in the waves and watching the surfers.
This was a low-key year for us. Most days we went to the same shady spot on the beach. We hitched into town a few times for groceries and recreation (great times at the St. Patrick's Day parade!), a birthday dinner at Rhumb Lines (so yummy!) affordable rum at Dolphin Market. We took a taxi with some new friends to Salt Pond Bay. We snorkeled while they climbed Ram Head.
We're already booked for a platform tent site for next year. Maybe by then my knees and Don's hip will be up to some serious hiking. If it weren't for the bugs, this would be our heaven on earth. We finally learned the benefit of bringing a mosquito netting to hang over our cots.
