The general store at Cinnamon has little in the way of selection and
is very overpriced. It might do for an emergency but don't plan to buy
your meals there. VI fan is right . The best solution is to buy your
food in St. Thomas on the way over. But beware again. You will need
a cab if you're not renting a car and they will charge you by the
piece for your luggage including your grocery bags! Also I don't
remember if the ferry charges per bag or not. I found the most
convenient and economical thing to do is to food shop in Cruz Bay.
There are two "supermarkets" there. The one in the "Mall" is better
stocked than the one right in town by the drugstore. Both will charge
about 30-40% more although some items are about the same price. I
would suggest you pack some essentials (sugar, salt, spices tea,
coffee) They don't take up much space and will save you a bundle.
