It worked fine for several years, but last few weeks the applet is stuck in "Loading" screen.
No idea what is going on. Tried several fixes described on the net, but nothing works.
Where to look for the error log?

The problem is due to changes Yahoo made to the weather API. A couple of fixes have been proposed. They are fairly simple and you can apply yourself until the dev has the opportunity to test and update the code. Check out the info here: https://github.com/mockturtl/cinnamon-weather/issues/134
