Applet stuck at "Loading...". Help anyone?

Using Cinnamon and installed the applet using the Cinnamon applet manager.

I entered a WOEID from:

http://woeid.rosselliot.co.nz/

The applet is never showing any weather data...

On another computer also running Cinnamon, the same applet, the same WOEID it just works.

There are no weather applet specific messages in Looking Glass.

Any suggestions appreciated.
