Free IOWA Prep workshops
By numerous requests, RSM (Russian School of Math) is excited to offer online IOWA Prep workshops to 6th-grade AAP students.
Workshop 1 (Tuesday, Dec 6th at 6:00 pm) Exponents and Functions
Workshop 2 (Thursday, Dec 8th at 6:00 pm) Linear Equations and Graphs
Workshop 3 (Tuesday, Dec 13th at 6:00 pm) Inequalities
Workshop 4 (Thursday, Dec 15th at 6:00 pm) Percentages
If you think your 6th grader needs some additional preparation for the IOWA Algebra Aptitude Test (IAAT), we invite him/her to join any (or all) of these online sessions. RSM will cover the concepts above, many of which students may not have been taught in their regular school yet. In addition, students will hone their test-taking skills by taking timed practice quizzes that simulate IAAT timing and analyze mistakes with an experienced RSM teacher.

APLUS strives to be a pillar of support to your students through these crucial times. This Spring, we are offering Writing Enrichment Courses, Math Enrichment Courses, Test Preparation, and Book Study Programs. These classes start the week of 1/31/23 and end the week of 6/3/23.

Writing Enrichment (16 weeks, 2/2/23-6/3/23):

For Math and Writing Enrichment courses, it is highly recommended that new students take a placement test so we can accurately assess their skill levels. To register for our Spring 2023 Courses, click the button below!
Join us for our Elementary (Gr. 3-4), Intermediate (Gr. 5-6), and Advanced (Gr. 7-9) Test Strategy Prep classes where students will learn the best test-taking strategies and skills they need for success on standardized tests, as well as build overall confidence in testing. These skills are crucial for students throughout the entirety of their academic careers.
Classes are 16 weeks long from 2/4/23 to 6/3/23. Elementary meets for 2 hours each week, while Intermediate and Advanced meet for 3 hours.
