TJ Prep Writing Series for 8th graders
This January, back by popular demand, RSM will be offering a TJ (Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology) prep writing series. We will hold four Saturday sessions via Zoom, on Jan 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. In addition to eight hours of instruction, students will complete writing assignments and receive personalized feedback with concrete suggestions for improvement. Students will draft and revise their writing in a structured process that will help them prepare for the TJ Application Day.
Space is limited and students will be accepted on a first-come first served basis. Registration is open here. Tuition is $300 for the whole course (includes four sessions). We will provide the class link following payment.

Job Description
Crown is seeking a Software Developer who has a strong work ethic and analytical skills. Candidates with a background in programing including Java, Docker, and NGINX are encouraged to apply. The candidate will primarily be responsible for:
- Apply computer science and systems analysis knowledge, concepts and techniques to develop and apply solutions
- Use scientific and engineering logic to create conceptual and theoretical solutions to problems of computer hardware, software and operation
- Develop alternative approaches to design, test and evaluation techniques, evaluates and recommends the optimum solutions, while balancing specific project needs with economic constraints
- Formulate architectural designs, functional specifications, interfaces for computer system, while considering system interrelationships, operating modes, and equipment configurations

Qualifications
- Excellent work experience with Java SW Development
- Excellent hands on experience of: Java, JEE, Spring, Postgres SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Desire hands on Angular developer, with experience using Karma/Protractor for Unit Test creation
- Desire hands on Developer with experience in Selenium and Protractor on large scale development efforts who practice Continue Development/Continuous Integration
- Hands on experience of: Design and develop Automated Testing scripts using shell scripts (bash/sh, sed, awk), Selenium, Cucumber, UFT, SoapUI
- Oracle and Postgres Database usage and access
- Strong working knowledge of: rest services environments such as RESTful APIs and JSON Knowledge of: testing frameworks and tools such as Junit, Mockito, including defect tracking and management
- Hands on experience with: DevOps and CI/CD tools integration – JIRA, Maven, BitBucket, Docker, SonarQube, Eclipse, etc
- Desire Hands on experience with: Docker, NAGIOS, NGINX
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail

Job Description
Crown is seeking a Test Engineer who has a strong work ethic and analytical skills. Candidate(s) can be located in New Jersey or Maryland. The candidate will primarily be responsible for:
- Perform analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for complex software/hardware applications
- Develop and maintain Change Request (CR) Verification
- Ensure proper execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in test logs or defect tracking systems
- Responsible for/or assists in the analysis of test results, documents conclusions and makes recommendations as supported by such analysis
- Support government witnessed test execution (Formal Test)
- Manage and own issues in multiple labs/deployed systems in multiple locations
- Debug and resolve/identify software and system issues, working across the various system functions and threads
- Write tools/productivity aids for use in integration and test
- Create scripts/tools to automate log analysis and system recovery actions
Qualifications
- Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development
- Understanding of Linux or other UNIX type operating system Process
- Understanding of Jira issue reporting system
- Past Air Traffic Control (ATC) system experience preferred
- Knowledge and proficiency of ATC Interfaces (e.g. FDIO, DASI, RVR) preferred
- Support fielded systems remotely and physically (ability to travel)
- Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers
- Knowledge and proficiency of web browser automation toolsets (Selenium) and experience developing and executing browser automated testing preferred
- Knowledge and proficiency of Kibana or other data visualization and exploration tools preferred
- Ability to work in a lab environment
