Personally I thought Shawshank was an unoriginal rip off of one of Uwe Bulls clasical movies The House of the Dead. The house of the dead is honestly one of the best movies of all time  just behind his other great In the Name of the King. The resemblence between shawshank and HoD are just too obvious and I shouldnt have to point them out. How do you call yourself a Cinephile?

Uwe Boll is one of the worst directors ever. His movies aren't remotely as good as "The Shawshank Redemption" and they aren't even related to it.
