The National School of Drama, an autonomous institution under Ministry of Culture, Government of India

invites online applications for following post:-

Group 'A’

Chief of Repertory Company One Post (UR)

Pay Level – 12 (Rs. 78800 – 209200)

(Non Teaching Post)

Age : 50 years and below

Educational and otherQualifications

(a) Essential : -

1. Degree in Theatre Arts from N.S.D. or any other recognized Institute and minimum 10 years

experience of Direction, Acting and organisation.

OR

An outstanding theatre person with established reputation who has made significant contribution to theatre

and to knowledge and with atleast 15 years experience.

2. Proficiency in writing and speaking English/Hindi essential.

(b) Desirable:

1. Experience of Administration.

General Instructions:

1. Candidates are required to apply online only by using the URL -http://recruitment.nsd.gov.in or

http://nsd.gov.in. Last date for receipt of applications is 22.11.2021.

2. Detailed information about the recruitment and instructions for filling up online applications are

available on the above mentioned URL. Candidates working in Govt. Deptt. / Autonomous organisation

/ PSU and fulfilling the requirements are required to submit 'No Objection Certificate' from their present

employer at the time of Interview.

3. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other specified categories, as

per orders of the Govt. of India. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of employees of the

NSD. The age limit and other qualification, experience etc. will be reckoned on the closing date of receipt

of applications.

4. No Traveling allowance all will be paid by the National School of Drama for attending the Interview.

5. National School of Drama reserves the right to adopt any criteria to scrutinize / shortlist the candidates

to be called for Interview and may or may not fill the post & its decision in this regard shall be final. Any

dispute, if arising on this recruitment, High Court of Delhi at New Delhi alone shall have the jurisdiction.

6. All candidates are required to regularly visit NSD Website for updates regarding recruitment process. A

list of short listed candidates will be placed on NSD Website and they will be informed about the date of

Interview on their email / by post.

7. Application Fee & Mode of Payment:

Application fee of Rs. 200/- for general candidates, Rs. 100/- for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) is to be paid

online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card. SC, ST, Women and Persons with Disability

Candidates are exempted from paying application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any

circumstances.
