A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 25 November, 2010 (Thursday) at Room
No: 2, Convention Center, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068, for
engagement of Consultants for School Of Performing and Visual Arts,
IGNOU Head Quarters, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi to teach M.P.A Theatre arts
besides other academic work in the School, on Contractual basis.
Aspiring candidates should report to Room No. 2, Convention Centre,
IGNOU.

Interview: 2 P.M onwards

1. One Consultant : Acting: Theory and Practicals
2. One Consultant : Theatre Design: Theory and Practicals

Qualifications :
• Essential Educational Qualifications: MA Theatre Arts from any
recognized University or PG Diploma in Dramatics from National School of
Drama
• Desirable Educational Qualifications: PhD in Theatre Arts
• Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching experience in theatre at UG or
PG level.
Remuneration / Honorarium: Rs. 22,500 to Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated)
Duties: To assist the School in teaching M.P.A Theatre Arts and other
academic activities.
The tenure of the contract will be initially for six months and
extendable further based on his / her performance.
Selected candidates shall have no right for claiming regular appointment
in the university.
