Hi, 

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you for the  eighteenth edition of our 'Asian Women's Film Festival' 15-17 March 2023, India International Centre, New Delhi. 
Across three days, we will screen more than 60 films from 20 countries, showcasing the best of cinema made by women of Asian origin from across the world, followed by Q&As with visiting filmmakers. 

9-9 PM, C. D. Deshmukh Auditorium, India International Centre.

Do join us on the 15th at 6 PM as we remember late Sumitra Peries , an iconic film maker from Srilanka as we screen her film 'Vaishnavee’,and Bina Paul and Yashoda Wimaladharma who shared a long association with her, talk about her life and work. 

 For this edition our 'filmy addas' are back! 

They explore a wide range of themes from  Representing Gender , Women, Children in media; Making Films and Watching Films -Gender in Hindi Cinema presented by TISS Mumbai; Movies @Mobiles; iTales an anthology of films made on mobile phones by A. R Rehman Foundation;a roundtable on Gender Climate Change Intersectionalities 'I'm Living It' supported by FES; Farzi -busting fake news; Visual Installations -The Life She Lives' an exhibition of photographs by Chitvan Gill on women who live on the margins of our society ; 'The Incredible Child' an exhibition on refugee children from Afghanistan curated by Samina Mishra and more!

 It would be wonderful if you were to join us for our closing dinner, 17th March 23 , at the Rose Garden, India International Centre, New Delhi 8:30 pm onwards ! 

Also on the 14th join is for cocktails at the Art gallery, India international Centre Annexe 6.30 pm onwards with Sadia and the girls
