three days, we will screen more than 60 films from 20 countries, showcasing the
best of cinema made by women of Asian origin from across the world, followed by
Q&As with visiting filmmakers.

late Sumitra Peries , an iconic film maker from Srilanka as we screen
her film 'Vaishnavee’,and Bina Paul and Yashoda Wimaladharma who shared a long
association with her, talk about her life and work.

explore a wide range of themes from Representing Gender , Women, Children
in media; Making Films and Watching Films -Gender in Hindi Cinema presented by
TISS Mumbai; Movies @Mobiles; iTales an anthology of films made on mobile
phones by A. R Rehman Foundation;a roundtable on Gender Climate Change
Intersectionalities 'I'm Living It' supported by FES; Farzi -busting fake news;
Visual Installations -The Life She Lives' an exhibition of photographs by
Chitvan Gill on women who live on the margins of our society ; 'The Incredible
Child' an exhibition on refugee children from Afghanistan curated by Samina
Mishra and more!
