When my first child was born. He was so beautiful and I couldn't
believe that I had been given such a blessing, in spite of all the bad
things I had done in my life. Having him made me stop and think about
what was really important in life, and that he was going to be
depending on me for as long as I was alive! That was a scary thought
but it produced change in my life and a desire to do better, plus the
joy that I had and still have is unending.
