Dear Friends, 

GCTA is thrilled to invite you and your family to our event 'GCTA Dussehra Cultural Night'.  Popular Indian movie singer 'Dinker Kalvala' would join us and entertain one and all with his exceptional singing talent. You would have an opportunity to witness great performances of our local talent. 

GCTA is marking new tradition here from this year on wards to celebrate Dussehra festival on a grand scale with your encouragement and support. We would like to celebrate the event with cultural unity  to fill in the true festive spirit among all families. GCTA encourages local talent to perform and motivates kids of our families to connect to our cultural roots through our GCTA platform.  Please reach out to us if you or your kid or known friend would like to perform in this event.  

We all would have an opportunity to meet and greet our distinguished guest 'Niraj Antani' who is a representative of the 42nd district of the Ohio House of Representatives. 

This event is Admission free, open to one and all.  Dinner & Snacks will be served.

About Dussehra :

As we all know, "Dussehra" or “Vijayadashami” is celebrated after ninth sacred night of “Sharad Navratri”. Its a festival celebrated by Indians in every part of India, across many states in USA and in many other countries with a great enthusiasm as a triumph of good over evil. Dussehra is originated from two Sanskrit words “Dasha” (Ten Evils) & “Hara” (Defeat or Remove) and that signifies about removing the ten bad evils to achieve victory in our life. Importance of Dussehra expands our consciousness for renouncing the ego, the anger & any form of evils and to adopt calm & good behavior in our human society.

In the midst of today's busy lifestyle, Dussehra gives us an opportunity to pause, to come together and celebrate with true festive spirit to make special memories with our family and friends here in Cincinnati.
