Dr Ramoo is the Executive Director of CSA, Center or Sustainable Agriculture in Secunderabad, India. CSA has been awarded the Sakshi Excellence Award in the farming category for 2016. You will have an opportunity to interact with him and listen to his talk on “Current Agrarian Crisis, Farmers Rights and Sustainable Agriculture in India”.

Flier Link: Do YOU think about the HAND that feeds You? We will also see excepts from the film Mitti (Back to Roots), a docudrama based on real-life incidences. Mitti is the story of a young agricultural scientist ‘Ekta’ who tries understand the crisis in farm sector and explores alternative paths. The research was done by Mr. Anshul Sinha under the mentorship of Dr. Ramoo. The film aims at enabling farmers from giving up farming and continuing to feed all of us.
