Sacred Harp Singing Sunday

Hello Everyone,

Join us this Sunday afternoon for our monthly singing from the Sacred Harp songbook.  We meet from 3:00 to 5:00.  Since it's supposed to be such a nice day on Sunday, we will be meeting outside at Bettman Nature Preserve,  4 Beech Ln.  45208. It is in the Evanston, Hyde Park area.  If you haven't been there it works well for a singing.  The main building is an old house that has a large porch which is where we sing.  We really enjoy singing there.

A few things to know:

Bring a folding chair.

Check your email before leaving, if the weather has changed we may move back to the church.

There are no bathroom facilities or drinking fountain.  There is a wooded area.  Be sure to bring a water bottle.

Folks I am not going to make it to the singing today.

 

I came down with a bout of diverticulitis yesterday.  I will start my drugs in a couple of hours and expect to be recovered in a day or two.
