Good news!!!

Dear friends,

This morning at my chemo session my doctor told me that the review of the blood tests from the first month of chemo was very good - better than he had expected.  The 'protein level' had dropped by half from where it was when they first started treatment. I don't completely understand it, but I'm very encouraged.

This doesn't mean that I can attend group singing or dancing sessions any time soon, but I hope that I will be back eventually - and I can join the singing sooner than that if the weather permits us to sing outdoors at the Bettman Nature Preserve.  I still won't be able to drive until I'm off the pain meds, though.
