Corralling micro-services with Functional Programming. - Ben Kyrlach
In this talk we'll look at a practical application of category theory and functional programming. Specifically, we'll look at using functional programming to provide a coordination and roll-back mechanism across multiple micro-services, and probably learn a little category theory along the way.
About me: Ben Kyrlach is an avid functional programmer, wanna be mathematician, and under-appreciated video game superstar. When he's not arguing about monads, he's probably playing D&D or attempting to master the piano.
