My client believes that smart and safe driving should be rewarded. They are a solving a large problem that will make our roads safer and our country a much better place. We are looking for rails engineers that have a desire to be a part of a mission-driven company. Team Information: 

The team today is 10 people. We have 3 IOS native engineers, an actuary, a risk manager, CTO, a business development executive, data scientist and one back end engineer. Our CTO just sold a company to Paypal for 800+ Million Dollars and we just hired the chief data science that was running the largest telematic program in the world from Progressive Insurance. Technology and Role information: 

Since this is only our 2nd full-time backend developer, we're still looking for senior level experience. Really, it's more about depth of expertise than number of years. That said, we'd expect you to have been working with Rails for at least 1 year. At this point, Ruby/Rails is required. Down the road we'll be open to other back end experience, but at this point we can't afford to have somebody who needs to go through the learning curve. 

The only truly required skills are Ruby and Rails.
