We are halfway through the summer drop-in broomball "season." If
anyone doesn't know yet, I've taken over for Joe (who is out of the
state), so if you are interested or have any questions, please let me
know.

I just wanted to post a few updates for anyone interested. We have
typically had exactly 12 people most weeks, so if you are looking for
some practice, there is plenty of playing time to be had. It is "drop-
in" format, so we just put teams together at the rink, so bring a
light and a dark jersey if you have them (if not, don't worry about
it, bring what you have).

Also, because of lower turnout than expected throughout the first half
of the season (we have yet to have a game with subs), I've had to
raise the prices slightly. The new price for drop-in is $15 per week
(and I'm also asking season pass purchases to chip in a little extra,
please see me directly if you haven't yet).

Feel free to drop in any Sunday. We have plenty of sticks and helmets
(as well as a limited amount of pads and shoes) for you to use. Look
at it as an opportunity to try out the sport (feel free to invite
friends who have never played) or hone your skills for the fall
season.

See the original post by Joe on the main page for information on
Northland Ice Rink where we play from 6-7pm every Sunday through the
end of August.

Also, if anyone with "power" reads this, could this get posted on the
main page and/or emailed to the CBA mailing list? That would be
great, as I'm not sure how many people will see this in the discussion
forum.

The powerful one has added this to the site - sorry for the delay.
