Hello, everyone! It is almost time for Summer broomball to start up
again.

Here is a link to the survey before I forget:

Before that happens, though, we need to make sure we have enough
interest to run a summer a league again. So, if you have ANY INTEREST
at all in this summer league, please fill out the survey out ASAP. It
should only take a minute or so, it isn't long at all. I also know
that we have quite a few new members in the CBA this year, so I'll
briefly explain our summer pick-up league to everyone.

The summer league is a pick-up league. It involves players of ALL
skill levels. I (and some of the other advanced players) will help
separate people into even teams. You should bring a dark and a white
top so that we can easily place you on either team. There are no
refs. We play for fun, but it is still competitive. This is a great
place to learn as the advanced players are more than willing to help
you out with skills, rules, and strategy. The level of play depends
on the people who show up, but it is usually a good mix of players
from all skill ranges, so it is somewhat like the blender league or an
intermediate league, but a bit more laid back.

We also usually offer two payment options. A weekly payment option
where you pay each week when you play, or a summer pass (that you have
to purchase at the beginning of the season) which will save you money
if you make most of the sessions.

We are also considering adding in some skill sessions (either as part
of the normal summer broomball program or as a separate endeavor), so
please let us know how you feel about that on the survey as well.

Please spread the word for people who may not be on this list
(especially captains). This is a great time to bring new players in
to try out broomball!

If you have ANY questions, please let me know.
