There obviously hasn't been much discussion on the email list, and there hasn't been anyone clamoring for a meeting or volunteering to organize a discussion for a meeting. So, it seems that the best course of action at this time is to suspend any semblance of monthly meetings, and just keep the email list around for discussion, and if a desire for a meeting happens, we can progress from there.

If you'd prefer something else to happen, or have an idea for the group, please reply. Otherwise I'll tell Max Technical Training that we won't have need for a meeting space in the future.

Would there be any interest in joint coding nights, something along the line of NSCoder nights?

I have been traveling to Columbus for CIDUG meetings most months, but it is too far for me to go more often (90 minutes) for regular NSCoder nights there.

If we had a regular joint coding night in the Mason area, I would be interested. Unfortunately, next week I will be out of town for work so I couldn't make it then.

Anybody else interested?

I'd be interested, mason or anywhere else ... the CINNUG people have get togethers at paneras for ad hoc pair programming, so the idea is viable.

Sounds good.

We can give a shot.

Charlie.

I think it's a good idea as well. If this happened, where should we meet? Should we stop meeting at Max?

We might stop to meet this year due to Thanksgiving and Christmas, but should regroup next year.

It is now well enough into "next year" that I am once again interested
in doing a NSCoder type night regularly, even if we don't do the user
group/presenter thing.

Any interest out there still? Mason area still a good idea? Other
locations or ideas welcome.

I am interested, depending on when it would occur.

I think at this point it's safe to say that the formal user group thing is not going to continue in the foreseeable future.
