February meeting

OK.  The new year is here and it's time to kick our Cincinnati GTUG into high gear.  The goal is to have a consistent meeting date/time/location each month so we can mark our schedules and build a strong presence.  I would like to propose the SECOND THURSDAY of each month.  Given that would be tomorrow which is likely too soon for many, we will start our regular monthly GTUG meetings on February 9th at 6pm.

The meeting location will be that the local hacker space HIVE13 to leverage synergies - the address is 2929 Spring Grove Ave Cincinnati, OH 45214 which is right off I-75 in Camp Washington.

There are lots of things we can discuss so I'd like to use this group as a place to start identifying monthly topics as well as share ideas until we build a cool platform to drive things.  One item that I would like to discuss at the next meeting is an upcoming mobile conference and how we might want to participate.  The conference is on May 5th for a full day - more details at the meeting.

Just an FYI,  The 2nd Thursday of every month at the Hive13 building is Lockpicking Forensics.  We can have two events at the same time if needed.  Check the HIve13 events calendar off the main page to see re-occurring events, etc.

Ah - my bad - I misread the calendar...  Well then let's consider the THIRD Thursday of the month.  Given that we have a week are there enough people that can attend January 19 or should we shoot for February 16?

I would still like to meet but it looks like it will only be you, Chris and me.  Given we call have flexible work schedules (assumption) would you both be open to meeting from 4-6pm this time?

OK. How about we do a Google Hangout instead since the agenda is more defining goals for the year and reviewing a couple of other opportunities. Something came up and I have to be home by 7pm tonight which is why I wanted to meet a little earlier. I am free at 8pm (after the girls are in bed) for a Hangout if that works for everyone. Then we can start our physical monthly meetings in February  as discussed. Everyone can visit the Cincinnati GTUG page to view/join the hangout tonight.
