Well, we had our first Cincinnati GTUG meeting this past Monday night. Considering the Reds were playing the Pirates right down the street and there were a few competing tech meetings, we had a good turnout. A variety of expertise and interests were present. Here's who attended:
Ed E, Craig S, Mike A, Chris D, Tad
The general consensus is that we'll make this a hands-on group, where not only do we review technology but we actually dig into it and code some examples which we'll share with the community via our site. (source included) First we're going to get some tools in place to help streamline and capture everything so that any new member can follow those processes moving forward. (and we create a great archive of stuff automatically)
The group agreed that monthly meetings works for everyone, with more frequent collaboration done online via whatever the appropriate platform might be. I'll post the next few dates in on our Google Calendar (with reminders to this group) so make sure you add this group calendar to your account. We'll expand our Cincinnati GTUG site as much as possible but also leverage a Google App Engine site for our examples and real tools.
So thanks to everyone who attended and here's to meeting others that share the same passion about Google technologies!
