Local 3D Printing Enthusiasts

 

I wanted to let you know about a local crowd sourced plastic purchase that is on Indiegogo right now. Some folks we talk to every month at the Columbus 3D printing meeting at the Idea Foundry from ic3dprinters.com are setting up shop in Dublin, Ohio.  Their idea is to manufacture their own high quality ABS. Obviously this is a good thing for the community and we hope a lot of people support them. 

 

Also so you aware, we have already commited to support at the highest "wholesale" level to be a distributer for the Dayton and surrounding area if everything goes well. Support this campaign, but we'll also have the plastic in stock later this summer. If you contact us now (what types of plastic you use would be awesome) we'll make sure this first batch is at a very modest fee over what we pay for it. I think we can offer a lot of value by cutting out costs to directly deliver plastic.

 

Feel free to forward this on to anyone into printing! Also, we have recently put together a Prusa i3 and some other experimental stuff which show that 3D printing still has a long way left to grow and evolve. If you would like to setup a demo just drop us an email.

for the past month or so and just finished building a Prusa i2. A
quality source of filament would be fantastic.
