Hi Barb,
We have eaten several times here with no problem. But over the weekend they assured me that the tortilla chips were gf. I've had diarrhea ever since. Just saw online that
they fry them first thing in the morning but in the same fryer as other non gf items. Do you know anything about this?

I ate there once. I had a shepherd's pie and had no problems.
I always stay away from anything fried, wherever I may roam.

Why not stop eating there? Is this something that some Celiac patients must have their doctors tell them? A few folks won’t have any problems, but does anyone go to a restaurant on the basis of a recommendation from another Celiac patient?

I have had the disease for 25 years. It has done a great deal of damage. From Peripheral Neuropathy in many areas of the body to Osteoporosis. Because of the Neuropathy I feel in the kitchen and suffered compression fractures of the entire lower lumbar spine because of brittle bones. I was 6’-4” and now barely 6’-0 tall.

I am a Celiac patient who has only the symptoms of bloating of the abdomen when ingesting gluten. No pain, diarrhea etc. Good luck to all!
