Hey,

Does anyone know if McCormick's Season All is gluten free? I am confused because on their site these use maltodextrin (wheat) as an example if there product contains gluten or not. However, on season all it contains maltodextrin and does not have wheat next to it. I know in the US it is mainly made out of corn and in Europe it is mainly out of wheat. Any advice, ideas?

I copied this from McCormick's site under contact co and then FAQ. There
are other answers about gluten too. I don't know specifically about the one
you have, but it looks like if something has wheat in it then it should be
on the label.

Do your products contain gluten?

Question
Do your products contain gluten?

Answer
None of our single ingredient spices and herbs contain gluten. In
addition, all of our extracts, including Pure Vanilla, are gluten-free. Some
of our products do contain gluten. When WHEAT is the source, it will always
be called out within the ingredient statement, and listed in bold.

We do not maintain a list of gluten-free products, as our formulas change
from time to time.

If it does not have wheat next to it it's fine.  They were saying that if it does contain wheat they will state it.  Most maltodextrin is from corn like you said.  I think a lot of other companies have the same policy.  That if there is wheat it will clearly state it.
