Does anyone know, is Homemade Brand ice cream (vanilla or chocolate flavor) gluten free? Thanks!

Yes.  Ice cream in general does not contain gluten UNLESS it has Gluten Containing Adds such as cookies pieces/crumbs, pie crust, cookie dough, etc.

You do have to be sure there's no cross contamination...just because it doesn't contain gluten ingredients, doesn't mean it wasn't processed on the same line or with the same equipment gluten containing ice creams were. I know my son gets sick if he eats Kroger ice cream. We've never had any problems with Breyers, Edy's or some of the Blue Bunny novelties like fudge bars and creamsicles.

I have always stayed away from Homemade brand because when I called they cannot make a statement one way or the other.  Unless something has changed (which would be wonderful!).... we stay away from it.

My daughter has done fine with it and she is very sensitive.

Home Made brand ice cream is made by United Dairy Farmers.
The lab scientist at UDF said only to avoid the flavors that have cookie or pie dough in them.
We have had no problems.

I’ve called the 800 number for UDF (Homemade Brand) and they said their natural flavoring is made by a 3rd party and this said 3rd party cannot guarantee if their product is GF, they did not know if any of their ice creams were GF..  I’ve called numerous times, same answer.
