I just went to Rock Bottom this weekend downtown, and I actually spoke with the Soux Chef Kristina on the phone after I had emailed this question to them.  I got a cheeseburger there with mashed potatoes and it was very good.  Kristina's husband has Celiac, so she is well versed in GF food items.  The attachment  I received contains the items she told me about over the phone.  My daughter got the grilled chicken kids meal- GF- and with the mashed potatoes, and my son also got a kids cheeseburger GF- with fresh fruit.  Kristina was not working, but she had told me to ask for Brian, another Soux Chef, and he came to our table and was very helpful.  So, I just wanted to pass this info. along in case you wanted to go to Rock Bottom.  Kristina had told me that if she was working at the time we went, she would always be happy to come out and talk to us about menu items.  So, something to know if you go there in the future.  We enjoyed our meal!

Hi Anne,

Thank you so much for your e-mail and interest in our restaurants.  I am
attaching some gluten-free recommendations from one of our chefs in
Cincinnati, but I need to let you know that the executive chef here at
the home office hasn't finished reviewing them - please consider them to
be a "guide" at this time and talk to your doctor if you have any
questions about any of the suggestions we've listed.  We are more than
pleased to make suggestions to our guests about gluten-free selections,
but we cannot be responsible for making safe choices on your behalf.

I also suggest talking to the manager or chef at your local brewery when
you arrive, as we are seeing more and more people with either Celiac's
disease or gluten sensitivity, and many restaurants are working to
provide gluten-free alternatives as off-menu items.  Different chefs
have different levels of experience with this particular type of diet,
but I know that our chefs and Sous chefs are genuinely interested in
providing creative, quality and safe options for people with a variety
of dietary restrictions.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance, and you might
also check out our standard menu on-line at www.RockBottom.com under the
"Find A Restaurant" tab for the brewery in your area.

Comments: What food menu items do you have that are gluten free?  My
family is interested in going there to eat, but 3 of the 4 of us have
Celiac Disease and cannot consume gluten.  Please let us know what food
items are available, and are the french fries cooked in a dedicated
fryer if they are gluten free?  Thank you!
