December Meeting

We should start organizing presentations for the December meeting. I'm thinking about doing a short presentation on headless browser automation with Python and Selenium Webdriver. Since we generally don't get around to buying any food after the presentations I'm going to try and pick up a few pizzas beforehand.

Anyone else thinking about presenting?

This Friday we have Dave Menninger presenting on a security-focused LAMP server solution that targets virtual environments, specifically VMWare ESXi. The presentation will be a guided tour of the environment and the reasons for its implementation.  It will include a tour of the new 8-core VMWare ESXi5 server at the Hive, virtual machine and network configuration, firewall configuration, jail configuration and construction, service configuration, and more.

After the presentation, guests will be invited to try to break into the fully-armed system. Come prepared!

Free pizza will be available throughout the meeting, donations are optional (but appreciated!)

Whoops! Totally missed the "B" there. I'll be there around 6:45 so I'll try to take notes and get a copy of the presentation. I'd actually really like to start recording presos but I don't have access to reliable video recording equips. Anything at the Hive?
