Dear Esteemed Consumer Group Members,

We are pleased to inform you of the developments so far realized in term of enhancing consumer protection in Kenya. We have so far established  a full fledged “Consumer Cell” dedicated to handling of consumer complaints and consumer advisory services free of charge. We have also managed to established an interactive online Kenya Consumer Rights Empowerment Forum website : www.consumerforum.co.ke . This is for the benefit of all consumers, consumer groups/organizations/champions and consumer protection agencies in Kenya to increase consumer access to information and to engage in constructive discussions on consumer issues in the country.

Consumers can now come in person, call or fill online their complaints in regards to their day to day buying of consumer goods and services in the market place. For more information you can visit http://www.consumerforum.co.ke/complaints.html.

Lets take the benefits of the available social networks through the website i.e. Face book, You Tube and Tweet to enhance sharing of knowledge, information and ideas for enhancing consumer justice in Kenya.

Best Regards,

Daniel Asher

Dear Members,

We need to sustain this kind of initiatives as away of bridging the gap on
consumer access to information and justice in kenya. This sustainability can
be realised if we are able to engage in constructive discussions on issues
affecting consumer in our country and coming up with tangible
reccommendations. It is an opportunity for us all in the consumer
protection affair to share our inputs through www.consumerforum.co.ke. It is
a website for all of us and not just CUTS Nairobi. Lets own it.
