Thefirst step in preparing for your free trial is configuration of the Akamai delivery product, Ion. Ion pairs with Image and Video Manager to deliver your images and videos quickly. Ion also allows you to control multiple advanced settings, including caching. Ion is provided free to you as part of the Image and Video Manager trial.

Make sure that the web browser and the Akamai Download Manager window remain open until the download completes. If you close the Akamai Download Manager window prematurely, the download fails and it's necessary to start over.

We have akamai Cloud Monitor App installed on the Splunk. IT used to work when we we were using the Splunk Trial version; later on we purchased 200Gb licensing but I am not able to find any events for the last 6 months. The last time, it generated logs when we had the trial version. We already have the Http EventCollector setup on the Heavy Forwarder. I can see that it is enabled from the HF. Is there any way we can check or enable it so that it starts indexing new logs and display the newer results.

The best way to check if the akamai logs are ingesting to Splunk or not is to run a curl command on your Splunk HF where HEC is enabled. This will indicate if HEC input is working correctly or not in first place.

I have PC at work and Mac at home and seriously want to explore the new AutoCAD for Mac. The free download trial onto my mac simply isn't working. A installer.dmg file downloads and Akamai Client Installer appears; double clicking this creates an Error message. No other download options in Autodesk for AutoCAD for Mac is available.

I didn't have any trouble with the Akamai installer when downloading the demo yesterday, though it struck me as a particularly ugly tool. Stuck an Akamai folder full of support files in Applications, when it clearly runs as a browser plugin.

Did you still have the demo download page open in Safari when you ran the Akamai installer? Because the download progress meter appeared on that very page once it was running. If you had closed Safari you might have triggered the error.

Undoubtedly, there are a few quirky differences to release 2008 that i'm using, such as no use of the F1-F10 buttons, but maybe i haven't found out yet. It's a little slower on my iMac at home, but it does have a lower spec than what is recommended to run the software.

I couldn't get the Akamai thing to work either. It would download the Akamai .dmg and then when I tried to launch the app inside the .dmg it would just pop up a small window with only a status bar and then quit when the status bar reached 100%. No downloading happened.

I downloaded trial version of AutoCAD tried to install it but it says that I have already installed AutoCAD. I have never installed AutoCAD on my PC before and when I search in finder the only AutoCAD file I have is the installation file.

Could you, please verify that you don't have two (or more) installations mounted, that is two (or more) DMG images of AutoCAD installer. If you have - unmount all, then restart your Mac, mount DMG and run installer again.

well, this is highly disappointing. I'm facing the exact same issue. there's no way you can get past this.

azure is telling me that akami CDN cannot be created with PayAsYouGo subscriptions. I tried with free trial/PayAsYouGo/Student/VisualStudioEnterprises. all of them not able to create.

Azure documentation mention only Azure Enterprises Agreement Subscription can use akami CDN. but there's no such subscription available. nor account can be upgraded to EA subscription. support team. please clarify this. this is important.

You mention that I should change the subscription type. Can you confirm that any other type of subscription can use Akamai CDN? I don't want to give my customer a solution, force to change the subscription type, just to find out that is not supported in the new one either.
