Feature request

Is there a system that the group is using to track feature requests?
If so, let me know and I'll resubmit, otherwise I'd like to request:

1) that the "Save Log" feature default to a non-generic filename
(currently "LogBookLogs.txt"). I would suggest some combination of
the connection name and the save-as timestamp in GMT.

2) (this is a biggie) the ability to configure some metadata on the
connection (from within the application that is sending the messages)
such that the "Save Log" feature becomes a "Transmit Log" feature
which then uses a standard HTTP post to upload the log to a server.

Thanks for providing such a great project! If you are forming an open
group I would be happy to contribute.

Thanks for the feedback. To request features, go to the issues tab on the
cimlogbook project and add a new issue (
http://code.google.com/p/cimlogbook/issues/entry). In the labels area, the
type is pre-set to type-defect. Change that to type-enhancement and submit
it.

The cimlogbook group is an open group but right now commit rights are
reserved for a few people. If you would like to contribute, you can dowload
the source, build the application and make any changes you need to the code
to include the functionality you need. Once that's done, you can either
create a diff file using svn:

svn diff > /path/to/my/file.patch

And send us the file or just send us the source files that you have changed.
